This is the powerful mission of Roots Community Health’s Street Team Outreach Medical Program—known affectionately as Oakland STOMP. Partnership in Action
MedCycle Network proudly partnered with Oakland STOMP, delivering a transformative shipment of high-quality surplus medical supplies to support their vital outreach. This inaugural delivery included crucial items such as braces, walkers, and specialized wound care products, equipping the STOMP team to address a wide range of immediate health needs for Oakland’s unhoused residents.

Dr. Danielle Williams, who leads the STOMP team, explains the importance of having immediate access to medical supplies during their daily outreach:
"Our team consists of medical providers, housing outreach specialists, and enhanced care management navigators. Together, we go directly into encampments across East Oakland, meeting patients wherever they are and addressing their immediate health needs. Having these supplies readily available removes significant barriers. Without them, we’d face delays in ordering through insurance, locating patients again, and delivering the needed items."
